Netflix May Be the End of Me
I signed up for Netflix a couple of weeks ago. Sure, the basic service is nice. Order a movie online, get it in the mail, watch the movie, send it back, and Netflix automatically sends you your next flick. Simple. Easy.
Last weekend, however, I found an even better feature--TV shows that I can watch online. No waiting for the mail; they're already there. I suppose this sounds quite silly to Netflix veterans or to those of you who have cable. But since I chose to forgo cable when I moved to Denver, watching shows online is strangely addictive.
I finally caught up on the last four episodes of Heroes I missed. Not one at a time mind you. In three hours. On the day I figured out I could watch them online. Now, I'm burning through Friday Night Lights. And I still can't believe that I get all this for $5 a month.
There has to be a catch. But I'm hoping I don't find it, at least not until I get through Dexter.
