So, frisbee equals ouch but cliff equals OK? What's up with that?
Well, I busted myself up playing ultimate frisbee tonight. I pulled my right quad on the second play of the game. So let's think about happy times, shall we?
My two favorite things to do on a snowboard are: 1) ride through trees and 2) drop cliffs. (Both good reasons to wear a helmet by the way.) Dropping cliffs sounds a little scary but it's really a matter of starting small and learning the right form. There's really not a whole lot of time to think when you drop in. This particular cliff is a favorite. It's about 10 feet where I'm dropping in the picture; later in the season I dropped the 15-foot part to the left.
And while this picture might seem impressive, the guy who went before me launched the cliff and threw a barrel roll off the 15-foot section. So, no, I'm not getting full of myself or anything. Promise.
